We want to focus our talents and resources on Economic Development and neighborhood support of the RISD at every grade level. As the LHAIA stated in a previous newsletter..."Several other Dallas neighborhoods may be more prestigious and pricey, but Lake Highlands endures with a distinctive personality and charisma. People choose to stay even when they can afford to move on. Kids grow up and return to buy their own houses. Families move around, but don't leave. The one comment heard over and over is that Lake Highlands is a well-kept secret and a treasure. Here one finds rolling hills, trees, creeks and a diversity of housing styles within the outer loop of a major city. Neighbors become fast friends. Our strong schools value the individual student.
